Calling for Spelhouse Alum, HBCU Alum & Friends to join us for some post game fun in an intimate outdoor/indoor setting. HBCU Fest welcomed everyone into the Homecoming Spirit in an EPIC WAY; now it’s time for Alumni & friends to gather across the nation on our actual Homecoming night to celebrate our win (and if we lose the game we’ll just tell them to lay their degrees down & still celebrate life’s wins) This intimate event will feature food, drinks, music, movies and vendors to get more Homecoming SWAG before the week is over. GLAMAA'S MISSION STATEMENT The Greater Los Angeles Morehouse Alumni Association (GLAMAA) has a long history of existence.  In its early days known as the “Los Angeles Morehouse Club”, the organizational mission remains the same.  GLAMAA is a nonprofit public benefit corporation and is not organized for the private gain of any person.  It is organized under the Nonprofit Benefit Corporation Law for charitable purposes.  The specific purposes for which this corporation is organized and our mission are: 1) To support and advance the interests of Morehouse College and its alumni who reside in the Greater Los Angeles area. 2) To foster interest among prospective students, provide scholarships and/or financial aid, as well as mentoring to existing students of Morehouse College from the Greater Los Angeles area. 3) To interpret Morehouse College to the community. Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) by nature are rooted in “the South”.  With no HBCUs west of the State of Texas, campaigning on behalf of these schools remains a full-time job.
