Turkey Basket Giveaway for pre-qualified families of 2 or more. Contactless drive-through event. Qualifying individual must be present. We are so glad you are coming to the Giveaway. Please read all information. Following these instructions assist us in obtaining donations for this event and is appreciated. To receive a Thanksgiving Basket all qualifying ID and required paperwork must be present in the vehicle to be approved when coming to pick up a Turkey Basket. No exceptions. Individuals who do not have mandatory ID and paperwork that matched the Event Brite sign-up will be required to leave event and will not be served. Proof of residency in Adelanto, Victorville, Barstow, Helendale, Oro Grande or Apple Valley is required. Our Partner Agency, High Desert Second Chance, is having a simultaneous Thanksgiving Basket Giveaway for residents of Hesperia, Lucerne, Oak Hills, Phelan and Pinon Hills. Please look up their Facebook page for instructions on how to sign-up there. This is a requirement for this event. Both Events will be sharing lists and duplications will not be accepted nor will those requesting baskets from areas other than those identified here. Located in Old Town Victorville, the Victor Valley Rescue Mission offers food, transitional housing programs for men, shower programs and pantry and hot meal supply for locations across the high desert. The Victor Valley location is a part of the Rescue Mission Alliance based in Oxnard.
