The 2021 706-Together gala on December 18th, 2021 marks the 3rd Annual! AUGUST 2021 Dear friends, family and loved ones, The 2021 706-Together gala on December 18th, 2021 marks the 3rd Annual. We are very excited! What started out as a few guys with big hearts wanting to get their friends together at Christmas time, has snowballed into an official non-profit organization. Our goal is to honor organizations close to our founders’ hearts for years to come. As our experiences, families and community grows, we want to open the floor for other causes that provide hope and future to our friends and families. That is why this year we will be supporting causes very near and dear to many hearts: mental health awareness and suicide prevention. It's our hope that we can contribute to fighting stigmas, opening dialogues, and providing support by raising money for two incredible charities: Mercy Health Center of Athens, Ga and Will to Live Foundation of Atlanta, Ga. We want to make a big difference, so we will be hosting several events this year in support of these groups. We started this annual event as a reunion for our Athens community. However, thanks to overwhelming support from our friends and families, we have spread to many parts of Georgia, including Atlanta. So even if you have no ties to Athens at all but want to have a fun night for an amazing cause, you are still welcome to join the fun and fundraising! Last year, we raised $19,000 that went towards ESP. This year we will be adding a sponsor dinner at Athens Country Club, followed by the annual gala that includes the silent auction. We’d like to increase our goal to $30,000 this year, with all profits going straight to Mercy Health Center and Will to Live Foundation. You can help us reach this goal by: hosting a table, purchasing a ticket for you, your family, and your friends, or donating a product or service to our silent auction! We are already so excited to learn that a few artists are donating pieces of their work, and we could not be more appreciative! Thank you so much for your generosity. We realize this is a busy time of year for giving your hearts, gifts, and service and we want to make sure you know how grateful we are.
