• Identifies tools and equipment needed for the carpentry project and prepares them promptly • Assists in making precise measurements of corners and sides within an area. • Gathers every material necessary for the carpentry tasks. • Cuts timber and lumber wood materials with the guidance of precise measurements. • Attaches wood materials to their proper places using mails, pegs, screws, and carpenter’s glue. • Helps the carpenter in installing rails, lifting heavy objects, and other duties that need a two-man effort. • Cleans the work area from debris, sawdust, and other wastes. • Properly maintain tools and equipment into their proper storage after every shift. • Follows carpenters instructions/guidelines and maintains a safe work environment.
