[Participants wanted] A brain and language study at U of Arizona

Description

The Cognitive Neuroscience of Language Laboratory at UA is looking for healthy individuals between the ages of 60 to 75 to participate in a brain and language study. We will record brainwaves (EEG) while you read words. Participants will be compensated $20. Potential participants should be: • Native English speakers with minimum exposure to other languages before the age of 6 • Right-handed • Normal vision or bring your glasses. • No history of neurological disorders • No history of psychological issues e.g. depression If you are interested and would like more information, please text/call us at *An Institutional Review Board responsible for human subjects research at The University of Arizona reviewed this research project and found it to be acceptable, according to applicable state and federal regulations and University policies designed to protect the rights and welfare of participants in research.
