NANUET, NY — An accident on Route 304 at West Nyack Road in Nanuet has closed Route 304 in both directions, according to Clarkstown police. The crash involved two cars and people were seriously injured, police said. Traffic is being diverted onto Route 59. "The department's Accident Investigation Team will be on scene for several hours at this location. Please find alternate routes of travel," police said on Facebook at 7 p.m. ROAD CLOSURE Nanuet, Rte 304 & W. Nyack Rd. Rt. 304 is closed in both directions. Traffic is being diverted onto Rt 59.
