Celebrate the world reimagined through writing. Featuring local authors Ann S. Epstein, Ashwini Bhasi, Sonya Vann DeLoach, and Leah Klass. On Friday, November 5 from 7:30-9 pm, four local authors unite to celebrate the world reimagined through writing. Poetry - Sonya Vann DeLoach, writer for Chicken Soup for the Soul: I'm Speaking Now: Black Women Share Their Truth in 101 Stories of Love, Courage and Hope and Cypher. Historical Fiction - Ann S. Epstein is launching her new novel The Great Stork Derby. She is also the author of On the Shore, Tazia and Gemma, and A Brain. A Heart. The Nerve. Her short stories appear in North American Review, Sewanee Review, and elsewhere. Poetry - Leah Klass, author of Reach Out, Reach In Poetry - Ashwini Bhasi, author of Musth Together, we'll enjoy readings from the authors, co-create Booksweet's first collaboratively written "Never Ending Story," and connect as a community of readers and writers.
