Galanter & Jones manufactures the highest quality heated outdoor furniture which warms homes around the world. We are looking for a motivated Delivery Driver to assist our fulfillment team. Responsibilities for this position include: Loading furniture from the delivery truck Delivering furniture to customers as well as vendor warehouses within the Bay Area in a 16’ box truck Transferring furniture and material from our Vallejo warehouse to our San Francisco manufacturing shop Load building and general warehouse upkeep Qualities of a strong candidate include: Ability to regularly lift 60lbs for curbside deliveries Experience with driving and operating a box truck Familiarity with with Northern Californian freeways A valid driver's license Customer service experience a plus Applicants are expected to start and end each work day in San Francisco. Applicants must have own transportation to work Full-time is ideal. However, applicants looking for a part-time position are still encouraged to apply.
