Prescription Drug Take-Back Event Scheduled In Stamford

STAMFORD, CT — The Stamford Police Department in conjunction with Liberation Programs will host a prescription drug take-back event later this month. Residents can drop off their unwanted and unused medication at a convenient drive-thru location at the Stamford Police Department (725 Bedford St.) on Oct. 23 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. No liquids or needles will be accepted. Additionally, the Liberation Programs Wellness Van will be on-site and provide free Narcan training and kits. Narcan is administered to help reverse drug overdoses.
