BEVERLY, MA — Beverly is holding a couple of public trash talk sessions as the city looks to reduce the amount of solid waste residents produce. Mayor Mike Cahill, city staff and the Beverly Waste Reduction Committee will host the virtual meetings via Zoom on Oct. 14 and Oct. 21 from 7 to 8:30 p.m. The meetings are designed to discuss the new trash and recycling contract, best recycling practices, composting options and other things that can be done to reduce the amount of solid waste in the city.
