Join Black Men Run for a 3mile run or 1+ mile walk for black health, brotherhood. This is a socially-distanced group run; masks required. On Saturdays we come together for our Sankofa Community runs/walks in Ashmont in for health, community, and brotherhood. We will follow a 3 mile course that includes a section of the Neponset River Trail. Following the event we will share some time to fellowship and share ideas on how we can build a brotherhood of runners in the Boston-Area. All runners or walkers are welcome (beginners or experienced) we will group folx to ensure no one is left behind. All in-person events require a mask. To join us virtually please use the tag #blackmenrunbos on social media. Details are as follows: When: Saturday Mornings: 9am - 10:30pm Where: Meet at Peabody Square, in Dorchester at the clock on the corner of Ashmont St & Dorchester Ave, (Masks required) at 9am; returning to Peabody Square post run. Virtual Run Option: Tag us in a post-run photo using #blackmenrunbos on Instagram, Facebook, or Twitter. Route: Run - 3 mile in Ashmont(Peabody Sq and Neponset Trail) including a 1+ mile walk option. Black Men Run Boston is a group focused the health and wellness of all black men through running. We come together in one of three ways: by running together maintaining social distance; virtual runs using the hashtags #blackmenrunbos or in smaller groups to support each other in trying times or celebration of black excellence.
