SECAUCUS, NJ — Released by Secaucus Police, all of last week's arrests: On Oct. 4 at 11:18 p.m., during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 28-year-old male of East Orange, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount of $200. He was able to post bail for the involved warrant, was issued 2 motor vehicle summonses and was released from police custody. On Oct. 5 at 5:30 p.m., Secaucus Police conducted a motor vehicle stop of a motorized scooter that was creating a hazard on the roadway During the motor vehicle stop, the police arrested a 39-year-old male, Roberto Bravo of Union City, NJ for Possession of CDS believed to be Heroin [2C:35-10A(1)]. Bravo was issued his complaint summons and was released from police custody. On Oct. 5 at 6:00 p.m., during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 28-year-old male of Hackensack, NJ for 5 outstanding warrants issued out of Hackensack, NJ in the amount of $1,815, along with 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Hackensack, NJ in the amount of $421 with a 10% option and 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Hackensack, NJ in the amount of $424 with a 10% option. He was able to post bail for the involved warrants, was issued 1 motor vehicle summons and was released from police custody. On Oct. 5 at 5:14 p.m., Secaucus Police responded to the area of Pandolfi Avenue on a report of a theft of a bicycle. During the investigation, the police arrested a 27-year-old male, Santiago Salcedo, non-domicile, for Theft [2C:20-3A]. Salcedo was served his complaint summons and was released from police custody. On Oct. 6 at 2:28 a.m. during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 33-year-old male, Michael Whitaker of New York, NY for 1 outstanding NCIC warrant issued by the U.S. Marshall's Office with no bail. Whitaker was also charged with Hindering Apprehension [2C:29-3B(4)] for providing police with false information, Possession of CDS believed to be Crystal Methamphetamine [2C:35-10A(1)] and Being a Fugitive from Justice [2A:160-10]. Whitaker was issued his complaint summons and complaint warrant and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail. On Oct. 6 at 10:03 a.m., during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 35-year-old male of Secaucus, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Hackensack, NJ in the amount of $3,500 along with 2 outstanding warrants issued out of North Bergen, NJ in the amount of $620. The North Bergen Police Department released him on his own recognizance pending a future court date. He was unable to post bail for the warrant issued out of Hackensack, NJ. Officers from the Hackensack Police Department responded to Secaucus Police Headquarters and took custody of him for transport to their authority. On Oct. 6 at 11:23 p.m., during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 24-year-old male of Teaneck, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Hazlet, NJ in the amount of $1,000. He was able to post bail for the involved warrant, was issued 3 motor vehicle summonses and was released from police custody. On Oct. 9 at 1:27 a.m., during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 26-year-old male of Paterson, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Prospect Park, NJ in the amount of $750 with a 10% option. He was able to post bail for the involved warrant, was issued 1 motor vehicle summons and was released from police custody. On Oct. 9 at 4:35 a.m., during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 28-year-old female, Shantel Walker of Paterson, NJ for Exhibiting a False Government Document [2C:21-2.1C], specifically a driver's license, Hindering Apprehension [2C:29-3B(4)] for providing the police with false information, Obstructing the Administration of Law [2C:29-1A], Resisting Arrest [2C:29-2A(3)(B)] and Theft of Identity [2C:21-17A(1)]. Walker was also found to have one outstanding warrant issued out of Paterson, NJ in the amount of $750. She was unable to post bail for the involved warrant issued out of Paterson, NJ. She was issued her complaint summons along with 5 motor vehicle summonses. Officers from the Paterson Police Department responded to Secaucus Police Headquarters and took custody of Walker for transport to their authority. On Oct. 9 at 7:03 p.m., Secaucus Police responded to the Secaucus Walmart on a report of a shoplifting. During the investigation, the police arrested a 20-year-old female, Zanobia Ford of East Orange, NJ along with an 18-year-old male, Salik Ford of East Orange, NJ and a 22-year-old male, Tevin Mcneill of Newark, NJ for Shoplifting [2C:20-11B(1)] and Hindering Apprehension [2C:29-3B(4)] for providing the police with false information. They were all served their complaint summonses and were released from police custody. On Oct. 10 at 3:15 a.m., during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 41-year-old male Derrick White of Lyndhurst, NJ for Driving While Intoxicated [39:4-50]. He was served his motor vehicle summons for Driving While Intoxicated along with 2 additional motor vehicle summonses and was released into the custody of a responsible adult.
