At approximately 10:01 a.m. on October 9, police were dispatched to the late report of a larceny. Upon arrival, it was determined that at approximately 8:00 a.m. on October 7, the male suspect entered the business and began placing merchandise into a shopping cart before proceeding to leave without paying for the items. An employee confronted the suspect and attempted to grab the shopping cart out of his hands. A brief struggle ensued and the suspect let go of the cart before leaving the scene on foot. The suspect is described as a Black male with a skinny build, 5'11" to 6'0" with short black hair, wearing a white face mask, gray long-sleeve sweatshirt, black pants and gray and white sneakers. The investigation is ongoing.  SEXUAL BATTERY (late), 2021-10090195, 5200 block of Yorktown Boulevard. At approximately 4:57 p.m. on October 9, officers were dispatched to the police station for the late report of an assault. Upon arrival, it was determined that at approximately 9:00 p.m. on October 8, the juvenile victim was walking in the area during the Homecoming Football Game when the unknown suspect inappropriately touched her.
