DANBURY, CT — The state Municipal Election is Tuesday, Nov. 2. Patch contacted candidates to answer questions about their campaigns. Republican Warren Levy, 81, is running for Danbury City Council-At Large. Occupation: Owner And President Of Danbury Metal Finishing, Inc. Family: I am a widower. Experience: Incumbent Family in government: No The single biggest issue in town is ______, and I plan to do this about it: Managing growth is our number one challenge. Request appointment of a diverse committee to review city services and make recommendations on how we could operate more efficient. This would include possible rationalization of services.. Critical differences between me and my opponents: I have leadership experience in both the private and public sector. Accomplishments: As a leader of the legislative body it is my job to bring about consensus on issues benefiting the city. What else would you like voters to know about you? Danbury is a wonderful community. I have 2 daughters that have gone through the Danbury school system and on to collage. I am a Navy veteran, pass Chief of King Street Volunteer Fire Co, member of the Lion's Club and serve on many non-profit boards. I own and operate Danbury Metal Finishing, and Inc. for 45 years.
