Press release from Johnson City Parks & Recreation: October 11, 2021 Registration is under way for Parks and Recreation's annual youth basketball league. The youth basketball league is open to boys and girls in the following age groups: 6-7, 8-9, 10-11, 12-13, and 14-15. Games begin Nov. 29. Registration is available online at www.myjcparks.org or in person at the Winged Deer Park athletic office, 4137 Bristol Highway, from 8:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. The registration fee is $25 per player for city residents and $30 per player for non-residents. There is a $20 late fee beginning Oct. 30, and online registration closes Nov. 1. Once registration closes those interested in joining a league should contact the athletic office to ask about being placed on a waitlist. For more information, please call 423-283-5822.
