SAN RAFAEL, CA — Crews battling high winds and low humidity Tuesday morning made quick work of a fire in unincorporated San Rafael, the Marin County Sheriff's Office said. The Loma fire was knocked down after burning through about four acres in the area of the 680 trail above Lucas Valley atop Loma Alta. No communities were threatened, the Sheriff's Office said. Marin remains under a red flag warning until 5 p.m. #LomaFire forward progress stopped. Great work by all resources.
