Kelly Services is looking for a Shipping and Receiving Clerk to a client in Madera, CA. Schedule is Monday thru Friday with hours being 8:30 am to 3:00 pm Pay is $18.00 an hour This is a temporary position Steel Toed Shoes are required Job duties are list below but not limited to: Create an Operating Procedure / Playbook for the activities listed below. Signing drivers in and out, directing drivers to third party warehouses, and assigns docks Prepares bills of lading; checks items to be shipped against work orders to ascertain that quantities, destinations, and routing are correct, places seals on trucks as required. Communication with team members to ensure a constant flow of information and accomplishment of tasks Prepares shipments for postal or commercial conveyance • Selects appropriate shipping containers. • Knowledgeable of how to pack items to ensure safe delivery • Assists in documentation when supervisor and lead are unavailable Builds transfers between Madera and 2PL’s Professional communication skills through email and phone conversations High quality customer service including customer service when there are issues with sales orders, UPS or any change orders. Acquire correct product for sales orders and UPS Performs a variety of shipping and receiving tasks. • Verifies materials received are as ordered and routes incoming items to appropriate departments/locations. • Process return shipments from customer Keep various tracking logs and warehouse data updated Prepare stock list Sorts, counts, packages, labels, insures, unpacks, and/or logs inventory which is shipped or received. Performs cycle counts and location audits as required. Row up split out locations for next days load Inputs warehouse totals at end of shift 15% Daily paperwork and other duties as assigned: Ensure loads are fulfilled and docks assigned when drivers are put in docks Print COA>s for the loads as required and notify Quality when COA>s are missing Ensure customer service knows when changes occur Check paperwork to ensure loads are correct Contact Transportation for loads that are built incorrectly or not built at all Maintain tracking logs and warehouse data updated Ensure team members are given orders sheets timely 10% Other duties as assigned Must have a High School Diploma or GED. 1 to 2 years of Operations or related experience needed.
