OAK LAWN-HOMETOWN, IL — With kids going back to school and the holidays approaching, fall is a good time to take an inventory of who is living in your neighborhood. Oak Lawn currently has 34 sex offenders registered, with Hometown counting five on the Illinois Sex Offender Registry.Of Oak Lawn's 34 registered sex offenders, 29 are classified as sex predators, requiring lifetime registry on the state sex offender list. One is incarcerated. Two of Oak Lawn's sex offenders are non-compliant. Christopher M. Schramm, 37, last known to live in Oak Lawn, failed to maintain accurate registration records, Illinois State Police said. Schramm was convicted of criminal sexual abuse. The victim was 10 and Schramm was 27 at the time of the offense. Deasean Rakim Boyd Marchman, 35, whose last know address is 9607 S. Major Ave., Oak Lawn. Marchman appears as non-compliant for failure to report a change of address. Marchman was convicted of attempted criminal sexual assault by force. His victim was 6 and Marchman was 16 at the time of the offense. Three of Hometown's five sex offenders are classified as sex predators.
