PHILADELPHIA, PA — Talks between the Sixers and Ben Simmons are gaining traction, and the embattled All-Star could return to the team as soon as some point this week, new reports states. Despite consistent reports out of Simmons' camp that he was "done" with Philadelphia for the past several weeks, the Sixers have refused to give up, and progress has been made, according to ESPN's NBA Insider Adrian Wojnarowski. The report was later confirmed by NBC Philadelphia's John Clark, who said that talks have been extensive and that a "resolution" to the ongoing stalemate was in progress. Simmons might reportedly speak directly with the team himself, rather than through his agent, in the coming days, as he is becoming more open to the idea of returning to Philadelphia.
