Cane Creek Farm is a Hunter/Jumper boarding, training and showing facility that houses over 20 horses and operates an extensive lesson program for children and adults of all experience levels. We are seeking to add individuals to our team that could fit a variety of needs. We are looking for full or part time positions to be filled. Job responsibilities: -Tend to the horse’s basic needs -Be responsible for basic Equine first aid -Maintain and operate farm equipment -Maintain the exterior/interior aesthetic of the barn -Assist with special projects as assigned Qualifications: -18+ years old -Thorough understanding of operating and maintaining farm equipment -“Handyman” skills -Experience operating power tools -Be able to lift 60+ lbs -Experience handling horses is welcomed, but not necessary -Willingness to learn and work in a team dynamic -Ability to work under pressure or in emergencies -Reliable transportation in all types of weather -Pass a drug screening and background check -Have a cellular device to make and receive calls/texts -Must be self motivated, efficient, thorough and observant -Be able to work weekends and some holidays Cane Creek Farm prides itself on our family-oriented environment in a professional setting.
