LEMONT, IL — The following information is from the Lemont Police Department. An arrest or charge is not an indication of guilt. Sept. 22 Jeffrey Velarde, 28, of Elwood, was charged with two counts of harassment by telephone with intent to threaten any person after a Sept. 19 incident in the 900 block of State Street. Sept. 25 Rudolph Gotlund, 43, of Lemont, was charged with domestic battery at 4 a.m. in the 500 block of First Street. Leonas Jalauskas, 60, of Willowbrook, was charged with DUI-alcohol, operation of an uninsured motor vehicle, driving without valid license, speeding 35+ mph over the limit, improper over taking, improper lane use and no valid registration at 7:16 p.m. after a traffic stop in the 1100 block of State Street. Sept. 26 Judi Rukosik, 50, of Lemont, was charged with battery at 7:44 p.m. in the 0-100 block of Logan Street.
