Mission Valley Golf and Country Club, located in Nokomis, Florida is looking to expand its golf course maintenance/landscaping team.
We are seeking full-time and part-time workers to maintain our stunning new course and grounds
Ideal candidates will have one year of golf maintenance experience. However, willing to train the right candidates. Must be able to work outside in varied climatic conditions. Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions, have a positive attitude and be punctual for work. The perfect candidate must like working with their hands and be self-motivated.
Position Responsibilities:
Edging, including bunkers and cart paths.
Mowing, including fly mowing and walk mowing all areas.
Weed-eating, including lake banks, control boxes and tree beds.
Hand raking bunkers and lips.
Top-dressing driving range and trees.
Planting assorted landscaping, ornamentals and sod.
Requirements:
Operate small transport vehicles, equipment and tools safely
Work outside for an entire shift
Lift up to 50 lbs. at a time
Extremely punctual and reliable
Willing to work alternating weekends, holidays and overtime.
