All appliances + a-z misc. if worth it are usually cleaned up, fixed up, painted, refurbished etc.+ Then the good ones then go to people needing that specific item.+The rest are then given to those who can maybe use as is, or for possible fixing, parts, and or just scrap. Will pickup some broken items and some junk for free if also picking up something else as well that makes it worth it to do so.+ You Avoid paying removal fees if you have new appliances delivered. This is because most companies who deliver new appliances charge a fee per appliance to remove old ones working or not.+The less that goes to the junk and scrap yards is best for the environment.
