I need some one to help with some heavier items every Monday for rehearsal, In return I will teach U early guitar. I will also accompany U in picking out a guitar & a inexpensive practise amp if you don't already have & any other pedals you may need (such as a tuner). If I can & I have, I will offer a small stipend to make up the difference for UR services. I'm looking for some one of legal age (17 to early 20's) who lives in this community (6 Old State Road right off 9w North) or close enough to it so I don't have far to drive U home afterward Rehearsal is In Gowanus Bklyn - name of the studio is Battalion Studios... driving on your part not required, = you don't need a car... I'll come get you, you'll ride with me. This is every Monday unless otherwise specified. I need you to be reliable - can't use you if you consistantly cancel last minute &/or don't call to let me know. I need some one who can assist in transporting & safe handily of 1 guitar, & a box of electronics, ON A CART, DOWN the driveway then DOWN a ramp, then back UP again I will need some one to help me get UP that ramp after rehearsal, and at least to the wall going down. Some one who'll kneel down to plug a line for my F/X pedals into the wall; maybe adjust the level on the amp. I have limited mobility & I tend to fall, & when I do, I generally have trouble getting. Rehearsal is 8 PM to 10:30 latest (unless we go out, which we haven't done yet). I'll also need you @ gigs. You will be included in any social activity we do (whether it be after rehearsal dinner out; social gatherings; cards - low stakes poker; what have U - all G rated stuff) ; and you'll also be able to hang out in the studio room when we're unless you want to hang out in the lobby & text UR friends. We we will get there earlier perhaps an hour or so to secure parking close - I will feed you too. Beverages are on me (a 6pk of Dr Pepper for the band; okay with U?). THERE ARE ABSOLUTELY NO - repeat NO DRUGS IN THE BAND!!! Smoking is outside the building by order of the management. This all above board. CALL ME (Mickey Ross) @ if you can be ready to go around 4 - 4:30 PM absolute latest (this Monday & every Monday til Nov 15)... I injured myself last night @ rehearsal, so I'd like to get a guy (or a girl even - equipment for rehearsal is not that heavy, even the women in the band have hauled up the ramp for me) who has the availability to lend a hand & see how a band is suppose to work. Weekly reliability is essential - Monday Rehearsals only; Gigs generally Fridays or Saturdays Nights; Sunday afternoons. I need some one close to the Hudson View Terrrace if not at least an actually resident to can commit to help me carry my guitar into my when we get back to Highland Falls - wld rather not have to drive far to take U home.
