GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB: This position is primarily responsible for assisting and carrying out the maintenance processes of the property including corrective, preventative, routine, emergency and cosmetic maintenance as well as the make-ready process in a manner consistent with the property's operational objectives. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Diagnoses and performs minor and routine maintenance/repair involving the following on a daily basis: • Electrical and HVAC Systems • Stairs, Gates, Railings and Fences • Water Heaters • Door and Post Office Boxes • Light Carpentry and Dry wall • Maintaining Common Areas and Assisting Lead Maintenance as Needed • On-Call Support • Strong Customer Service • Maintain Professional Appearance at All Times EDUCATION and / or EXPERIENCE: • HVAC Certification Preferred But Not Required • High School or GED Equivalent Must be able to pass a drug and background check. Sign on bonus of $1000 after 90 day probation period.
