The Cleaner reports to the Property Manager and will carry out a variety of cleaning responsibilities at the community in order to maintain the physical integrity of the property at all times. The Cleaner is responsible for all cleaning duties assigned by their supervisor. The following list is not all inclusive, but it is a typical description of the Cleaner’s normal duties. The Cleaner will be Responsible for: • Carrying out cleaning duties that include, vacuuming, mopping, and sweeping floors • Cleaning toilets, sinks and bathrooms • Cleaning windows, glass surfaces, mirrors and dusting • Maintaining the cleanliness of all buildings, grounds and common areas • Cleaning model and vacant apartments, Community Center and office area • Cleaning hallways, laundry facilities and public restrooms • Keep all areas of the building clean, neat and tidy • Ensure safe and sanitary storage and care of products • Support the Maintenance staff with special projects as needed. Skills and Qualifications: • Proven working experience as a cleaner • Physically able to reach, stretch, bend and walk during the daily routine; physically able to push vacuum cleaner for extended periods of time. • Knowledge of various cleaning chemicals and supplies • Good knowledge of Material Safety Data Sheets • Ability to follow verbal direction • Pleasant and positive attitude • Ability to be flexible in work projects * 12/hr MWF 8:30a-12:30p + Paid time off after 90 days
