Landscaping Company In Skokie Seeking a Hand Shovel Driver for one of Our Sidewalk Snow Removal Routes: - This is a seasonal On Call position Available from October 2021 to March 2022. - We work when it snows (If theres snow in the forecast you can expect to work) - Drivers License and Clean Driving Record are A Requirement - You need your Own Reliable form of Transportation to Get to work (Public transit does not run in the middle of the night) - Previous hand Shoveling or snow Removal experience would benefit you. - We Run 4 Routes and 1 have one Driver position open for one of these routes this Winter. - This is a Physical Job and you need to Be prepared to work outside in the Elements Shoveling for extended hours. - An Average shift is 5-8 hours with some long shifts reaching 15+ hours. - We will supply a Jacket and all the necessary equipment needed to handle the route (Shovels/Snow Blowers/Salt) - You need to supply/come dressed ready for the cold/snow/elements - English or Spanish is OK Bi-Lingual would Be Preferred. - The position is paid Hourly on a weekly basis starting at 22$/hr with no experience. The hourly can be negotiated if you have previous snow removal experience. - There is an opportunity to stay on with the landscape side of our company, for the right individual based on winter performance and attendance.
