I am an established singer songwriter who has professionally produced an album and is working on a second. I relocated to Chicago from LA and am looking to set up a band to play my original music and potentially write and record with. I am looking for a lead guitarist, bassist, and drummer roughly between the ages of 24-35 who are very experienced in their instruments. Songs are inspired by The Strokes, Voidz, and Stereophonics among many others. I am looking for a guitarist who puts taste before self indulgence A bassist who isn’t an aspiring Victor Wooten, but rather holds the pocket And a drummer who can make a basic groove pop as opposed to leaning on sloppy fills. This is truly meant to be a band, functioning as one unit, with a common vibe and purpose - to refresh with originality and unforgiving authenticity.
