Safety/Compliance assistant needed for medium size trucking company. A little about us first… We are a family owned trucking company that has been in continuous operation since 1959. We pride ourselves on being one of premier trucking companies of our size. Being financially stable and having young upper management, not to mention our 61 years of experience, we are poised for moderate and manageable growth. Job description would include but not limited to: Data Entry Calling drivers Assembling and verifying driver DOT files Onboarding driver and conducting monthly training Filing Miscellaneous other office duties that may arise. We will be looking for an individual that has the following experience and credentials: - Accuracy and attention to detail a must - Reliable transportation - Must be proficient with Word and Excel - Experience with DOT driver files a plus - Trucking Industry experience a plus - Experience using McLeod software a plus Benefits include: - $18.00/hour starting pay - 100% paid health, dental, vision and life policy for the employee - 401k plan from start date with company match - Paid Holidays - Office with large desk, no cubicles We are also looking for an individual that has drive.
