If you possess an internal drive to succeed while having fun, then you may just be a natural SWENATIC and we want to meet you! • Prioritize and troubleshoot inbound maintenance requests for inhouse maintenance or vendor when necessary. • Perform scheduled and unscheduled day to day maintenance of all restaurants including but not limited to plumbing, heating, cooling, electrical and restaurant equipment. • Perform regular preventative maintenance on all restaurant equipment. • Inspect, operate, or test equipment to diagnose malfunctions. • Understand and have experience in facility refurbishment, renovations, and new building installs. • Perform building, sidewalk and parking lot repairs as needed. • Ability to work within a team and on your own. • Perform duties within maintenance budgets to meet set objectives. • Ability to understand and interpret equipment manuals and work orders. • Monitor inventory and place orders. • Keep all appropriate parties informed on progress and progression. • Ensure adherence to health/safety procedures and policies. • Availability to be on-call for emergencies. ADA Requirements/Physical Standards: • Exposure to extreme temperatures based upon variable weather conditions inside and outside. • Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility and reasonable range of motion such as bending, stooping, standing, walking, stirring, lifting to complete physical tasks related to responsibilities. • Able to safely respond in emergency situations to avoid imminent dangers to self and others. • Safely transport and lift up to 50 lbs. • Safely work frequently in and prolonged exposure to a hot and damp environment. Safely work frequently in and prolonged exposure to a sub-40 degree (F) environment. • Ability to safely work in environment that includes wet floors, temperature extremes, and loud noise. • Ability to read, write, and communicate verbally and listen attentively to employees, guests, vendors, and visitors. • Ability to give appropriate notice for any need to deviate - in any way - from one's scheduled shift to the appropriate manager. Requirements • Proven experience as a multi-unit maintenance technician preferably in the restaurant industry. • Experience in scheduling and planning and performing maintenance operations. • Experience working alongside outside vendors. • Working knowledge of HVAC equipment; Forced air systems; Refrigeration repair and overall restaurant kitchen equipment. • Working knowledge of plumbing and electrical maintenance functions including installation and repairs. • Strong written and verbal skills. • Self-starter highly motivated with strong planning and organizational skills. • Proven problem-solving skills. • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation between locations. • Ability to lift 50 lbs. • Able to work flexible hours and overtime as needed. • General skills utilizing the Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Work and Outlook.
