Do you have a valid, CLEAN Florida Driver’s license? - DEAL BREAKER If so, we want to speak with you. - Solar Installer: Starts at $17/hr (increases rapidly). This is the probation period wage, $20+/hr once everyone commits to long term employment. Raises and promotions dependent on performance, training and reliability. Solar Installer is expected to: -Have the ability to work in extreme heat/cold weather while on a rooftop or in an attic space -Report at 7am, Monday through Friday, until job is complete (could vary between 3pm-5pm+) -Have the ability to intuitively see how things work -Learn the solar trade and retain the knowledge -Work in the warehouse if/when required (ex: rainy days) -Take direction -Show/exercise leadership traits (We are expanding) You will be working in EXTREME HEAT under the hot Florida sun. It will feel twice as hot when working on the roof. The shingles reflect the sun. Water, Gatorade, and ice (with cooler) is provided daily. We will also provide the trainee with proper tools and safety equipment. Hats and sun block are not provided but are recommended. We are not looking for temps. These are full-time positions.
