FT or PT Bindery & Assembly Worker - Printing

Local, well-established printing company has a need for an employee in our bindery department. Preferred candidates will have at least one year experience working in a manufacturing or assembly environment, ideally at a printing company or other graphic arts company. Responsibilities: • Perform print job finishing or bindery operations such as folding, padding, stapling, and inserting. • Completed customer orders by counting, weighing, putting boxes, labeling and prepping for shipment • Follow instructions on orders, and complete paperwork and receipts • Perform quality checks on finished orders and alert management of issues • Maintain functionality and cleanliness of equipment and supplies • Perform other duties as assigned Desired Traits & Skills: • Experience working in a similar assembly or manufacturing environment • Strong attention to detail and deadlines • Good math skills, and strong ability to read measurements • Sharp eye for quality • Willingness to help in other print production functions when needed Position is available to start immediately. Position could be either part-time or full-time, depending on the candidate. Average range of pay is $11.00 to $15.00 per hour, depending on experience.
