Sally Beauty Forklift Operator FULL-TIME $18/hr, plus $250 new hire bonus 9975 Moya Blvd, Reno, NV 89506 This job consists of operating manual or electric powered equipment in order to complete the process of at least one of the following: receiving, picking, packing, stocking, or shipping of products. Primary goal is to move product safely with minimal damage while maximizing productivity. Detailed Standard Operating Procedures exist for tasks performed by this job in the following areas: Receiving, Order Pulling, Shipping and Stocking. - Obtaining and transferring product from various locations throughout the distribution center. - Weighing, loading/stacking of materials onto trucks using different types of equipment to complete this. - Receiving, unloading, stacking, and storing of products from different vendors. -Stocking product/items - Picking product from receiving area, transferring product from various locations throughout the distribution center. - Ensuring that all areas of work are done accurately to ensure optimal customer service. - Maintaining a safe work environment, performing job functions in a safe manner, and reporting any potential job hazards to management, including maintaining good housekeeping practices. 2nd Shift will receive a $1 shift differential. $18 and up depending on experience. Schedule - Shift start: 7:00AM or 3:30PM - Shift length: 8 - 10 hours Benefits - Health, dental, vision insurance available after 31 days - Paid time off - 401k Requirements - - Must be able to become certified through the Sally Beauty Lift Truck Training Program in order to efficiently and safely operate a forklift within the time frame specified by management. - - Basic computer skills - - Verbal and written communication skills - - Ability to work in a fast paced environment with the capability to adjust to change and interruptions - - Ability to work with limited supervision - - Must be able to work in temperatures ranging from 25 degrees Fahrenheit to 105 degrees Fahrenheit - - May be exposed to fumes and odors upon occasion - - Visual ability must have accurate depth perception - - Must have adequate hearing to hear warnings from powered vehicles, emergency alarms, and verbal announcements - Must be at least 18+ years old - Must pass drug screen - Must pass background check - Can lift 50 lbs Bonus $250 new hire incentive Paid after 46th day and after 91st day of employment About Sally Beauty
