Car Detailing job Requirements: Ability to process 4 Cars per hour if you have a valid Drivers license, 5 cars per hour if you do not have a valid ID. -Quick-paced environment -Ability to fill out a production log -Ability to work in a team environment AM Shift starts at 8:00 AM PM Shift starts at 4:00 PM Some of these job duties include: Washing, waxing, and buffing exteriors Treating car windows Vacuuming car upholstery and other surfaces Retouching paint Following all company and safety procedures Ensuring quality work is done before moving on Notifying managers of equipment malfunction Repairing small cosmetic parts Driving cars to a designated spot after work is done Car detailers usually work with a team of other detailers and car professionals. They are commonly employed by mechanics and car dealerships, where they may work with new and used cars. They may work inside, outside, or a combination of both. The work of car detailers often involves a lot of standing, walking, and lifting heavy objects. The hours can vary, with some employers giving regular, full-time hours and others requiring evenings and weekends. The work environment for car detailers is typically fast-paced.
