C1D1 Labs Assembly Lead Job Duties & Qualifications Work Schedule: Monday – Thursday 6:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. (10-hour days, 30 min lunch) Duties 1. Open boxes that are delivered to the shop, locate packing slip, and verify correct number of items are received. Circle and initial quantities, follow up with office manager regarding shipments that are not received in full or damaged. Once verified, place items in correct inventory bins. 2. Keep inventory area tidy and keep close watch on items that are low or will be used in future. 3. Work closely with Shop Manager to ensure proper number of items are in stock for new jobs that arise on production schedule. 4. Fill out correct documentation for removal of inventory items, turn in to office for inventory accuracy. 5. Review testing procedures for specific equipment, inspect equipment prior to testing. If something looks incorrect, inform shop manager prior to start of test. 6. Use proper safety gear during testing procedures, ensure testing area is safe to proceed prior to turning on the equipment. 7. Fill out all necessary paperwork for customer folder to have for any questions or problems that may arise with equipment after it has left the shop. 8. Build crates for equipment that is set to ship, provide dimensions, and approximate weight to Office Manager. 9. Inform Shop Manager of low crating supplies or other supplies used. 10. Contingency of travel to various locations for installation or repair of equipment as needed. 11. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications • 2+ years of experience with inventory, shop procedures • 2+ years of experience using a variety of shop equipment, machinery, variety of tools, ability to read tape measure. • Ability to read instruction manuals, test equipment according to standards. • Good knowledge of and adherence with safety standards, attention to detail • Critical thinker and problem-solving skills, team player • Good time-management skills • Great interpersonal and communication skills
