Applied Property Management/Ironstate Development, a premier residential real estate developer is seeking an individual to fill the Maintenance position in rental buildings located in Hoboken, New Jersey.
This is a full-time position with competitive salary and great benefits.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Conducting routine inspections of premises and equipment. Performing preventative maintenance.
Handling basic repairs such as repairing broken locks, filling gaps on walls etc.
Report to a facilities or maintenance manager for issues
Install appliances and equipment
Inspect and troubleshoot equipment and systems (e.g. ventilation)
Check functionality of safety systems (e.g. fire alarm)
Collaborate with workers and other professionals during renovations
Required Skills:
Minimum 1 years of experience in a similar position
Experience using hand and electrical tools
Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical and mechanical systems and ability to perform basic repairs on these systems
Must have good communication and interpersonal skills
