If you are tired of plugging away and feel like you are not moving come join our team where there is no limit to the growth that can be achieved Job Purpose: Assists in carrying out on-site installation, maintenance, and repairs to high-value installations that the company has built. Essential Responsibilities: The responsibilities of the Service Technician Assistant is to service and repair equipment and machinery that Hive has installed and/or has built. Duties will include: Assist with pulling wire. Assist with Hanging TVs. Assist in cutting in speakers, Assist CAT V and VI terminations, Assist in setting up patch panels. Assist in building server racks. Assist in any troubleshooting of equipment or systems. Assists in final testing of newly installed systems. Clean machinery by using rags, power washers, cleaning solvents, air guns, hoses, vacuum, and other equipment. Assists the reassemble of machines after repair or maintenance work by understanding mechanical operations. Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Education and/or Experience: Has a High School Diploma or GED, Strong communication, problem-solving and analytical skills. Have good organizational skills. Be able to work quickly under pressure without supervision. Be able to understand technical diagrams and manuals. Be aware of electrical, mechanical, and safety issues. Possess a clean driving license. Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to drive from job site to job site. The employee frequently is required to sit, stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance. Requires working in cramped workspaces and getting into awkward positions. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to ten pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to fifty pounds. Hours: This is a full-time hourly position with a minimum of 40 hours per week. Must be available evenings, weekends, and holidays in case of emergency.
