Castaway Marine has a job opening for a Parts Manager at our boat dealership. Parts Managers are responsible for the overall performance of the parts & accessory department. Qualifications & Expectations: Must have an extensive knowledge of boat & engine parts -Leads a positive and ethical work environment -Has a continuous learning mindset, develops and maintains a high-level of parts knowledge -Analyzes operations and finds ways to increase efficiency and profitability of the parts dept. -Promotes teamwork, and supports other team members, departments and locations to ensure the customer has a seamless experience through the sale, delivery and subsequent servicing of the boat. Must be a team player. -Computer Knowledge - Organize, Manage and track inventory turnover -Ability to Lift 10+ lbs infrequently -Seated, Stooping, Climbing Duties & Responsibilities -Executes successful parts, boating accessories, warranty and return processes -Builds and maintains positive customer and manufacturer relationships to strengthen customer loyalty, reduce order times and enhance dealer reputation -Resolves customer complaints or concerns in a timely manner and always looks for ways to better serve our customers -Maintains a clean, safe and environmentally friendly parts operation -Ensures that the parts team effectively communicates with customers & service team on a timely basis, keeping them proactively informed of the status of their order -Experience moving boats with a forklift a plus.
