About the Artist: Threadtree is about making special, unique artisan gifts you can be proud to give.... Maine based & Veteran owned, I do my best to source local, Maine wood to include in my boards. I am at best a mixed media artist & maker - Wood, Resin, Graphics, & Fabric; I have always been an artist in some fashion but these mediums have proven to be "home". ​I source and mill the wood I buy; I pour resin; I turn on a lathe; I create graphics for my fabric items; I paint & I sew. I enjoy working with my hands. From a different prospective, I hope to promote and share my craft with other women and increase their comfort in working with wood and the accompanying tools. Skill level: All levels Supplies we provide: all materials, tools, and instructions Safety Precautions: Class size is very limited due to social distancing requirements.
