Learn about how curricula and issues inside public schools influence your child and how to take back your POWER over your child's education. Doors will open at 8:15 am. Program will begin at 8:45am. Speakers will include Dr. Everett Piper (former President of Oklahoma Wesleyan University), Nathan Phelps (organizer of Tulsa's Hillsdale Charter School), James Taylor (Pastor and OKCPS history teacher - now on leave for objecting to OKCPS' mask policy), Jenni White (Education Director of ROPE), Liz Miller (ParentVoice - parent advocate)and more!Early speakers will educate parents about issues such as SEL, CRT and oversexualized, developmentally-inappropriate literature. Later speakers will help parents understand how to RECLAIM their PARENTAL RIGHTS and the POWER needed to control their child's education and make it work for their family. Sessions will also include time for networking with speakers parent activists and special guests. Tickets will be $30 for the entire day (8:45am-2:30pm) and include a lunch buffet. *Because ROPE is a PAC, we are required to collect the individual information required at checkout.
