Through our support and advocacy, we strive to change the lives and build brighter futures for these seriously injured heroes—to empower these brave men and women, who gave so selflessly of themselves, with what they need to achieve the things they fought for: freedom and independence. Some of the programs we provide are adaptive snow skiing, kayaking, bowling, fishing and biking. We also provide community outreach programs such as our “What’s It Like” program, visiting area schools teaching children about life in a wheelchair and that anything is possible, you may just need to find a different way to accomplish it. Additionally, we visit VA hospitals and patients throughout New England advocating and ensuring quality healthcare through our Chapter Hospital Liaison program and working with our PVA Veteran Service Officers. It's important to note, that New England PVA is NOT affiliated with any State or Federal Veterans’ Administration and does NOT receive any local, state or federal funding.
