Learn how to incorporate mudras into your yoga practice and how they relate to the chakra system during this 60 minute class with Deonna. mudra: [muh-dra] noun. a sanskrit word meaning 'closure' or 'seal'; hand gestures that effect the flow of energy in the body. During this 60 minute practice we will learn about mudras and the ways in which they could enhance your yoga practice and heal the chakras. Class will start off with stillness and breath to bring us back into our bodies. We will then transition into gentle poses to awaken stagnant energy, followed by a flow that will create some heat, and ending with restorative poses to calm the body to prepare for savasana. As Deonna guides you through this all levels class she will provide you with modifications to suit your needs along with gentle, encouraging words as we move and heal our physical and energetic bodies. Beginner to advanced yogis are welcome. Self Care Investment: $15 (Good Vibes class cards accepted) Cash or Venmo accepted. Please RSVP a minimum of two hours before class time.
