Old Absinthe House is looking for new cleaning crew members to complete daily porter duties throughout our French Quarter bars and event spaces. We are looking for someone who is able to commit to 40 hours a week, feels comfortable ascending and descending stairs, and who can lift up to and occasionally over 50 lb. The ideal candidate will have weekend availability. Responsibilities -Clean, stock and supply designated facility areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, restroom cleaning etc) -Work with maintenance team to preform light inspection and maintenance activities -Carry out heavy cleaning tasks and special projects -Notify management of needs for repairs or other issues -Work with management to stock and maintain supply rooms -Follow all health and safety regulations Skills 1 year of experience in commercial cleaning preferred--this is a unique space and will present challenges that may be different from residential experience Ability to handle heavy equipment and machinery Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies Punctual 1-2 references would be great!
