At a time when dinosaurs rocked the earth… “Older” guitar player/ songwriter writer, looking for a bass player and drummer to be part of the process of “No, that chord doesn’t fit there”. I'm 49 and still making noise. This is my only real hobby and have no ambitions or misconceptions about what this is. That said, I do have goals in mind. Would love to get these songs finished, heard and recorded. Then submit to some music catalog companies to see if they land anywhere. It’s loud and imperfect (as rock music should be) but I have a strong sense of what makes a song. I could do it by myself at home, but I prefer having real humans playing as opposed to me programming drums and "fakin it till make it" bass lines. My style is in the realm of old Foo fighters, Oasis, Superdrag, The Posies, Quicksand and few other bands you might not even have in your record collection. Extra shopping spree minutes at Tower Records for knowing who Jellyfish or Hanoi Rocks are. I'm not looking for perfect musicians, cause God knows I'm not, but some guys I can play with, share a small space with and actually talk to in between brief moments of dissonant fury. And yeah, of course I want to sound good. Full disclosure, I'm very conservative, sarcastic and would love to find that in common as well as the musical tastes. Who knows.... maybe you're out there. I'm married and relocating from CA (shshshshsh.... let's not talk about that). So I'm not just messing around cause the time is too precious. I'm just a big music fan and simply want to play and write some good music before I die. So…. If this post resonates with you, then maybe you should reply and we’ll see where it goes.
