Southern Indiana producer/instrumentalist "Roadhouse" weaves a tapestry of home recording workouts with a wide palate of approaches, ranging intuitively from miswired bedroom funk to flash-fried downer prog, paranoid acid-house, low-budget tape beats, brain damaged modern electro, Soviet x-ray soundtracks and subtly enchanting digital-acoustic confusion. The records play like a slow spin of the rotary dial through extra-terrestrial AM/FM radioscapes, uncharted but not entirely uninhabitable. The live performances are an improvised re-rendering of those and other sonic spaces. She grew up in Southeastern Massachusetts, and studied Sonic Art at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston. Her sound ranges from ambient drone to lo-fi techno, and is composed of ethereal synths created and performed with Ableton Live. soundcloud.com/kitschdecor Footings is the songwriting vehicle of Eric Gagne, somewhat lazy guitarist and untrained singer. Eric has been making records pretty steadily since 2003 with Death to Tyrants, Dweller on the Threshold, Redwing Blackbird, Passerine, and now Footings.
