Stop in and say hi while enjoying a beer of your choice and possibly winning one of several The Tap House (veteran owned) gift cards, a liquor gift basket, Brushy Mountain passes, a tattoo from a local artist (Franklyn Metz) or an oil change from German Autohaus (Brett Elliott) - both whom are veterans! Abbie Metz, one of our team members, served in the Marine Corps and met her husband Franklyn while they both served in Iraq. Abbie served 8 years, while Franklyn retired after serving 20. Abbie comes from a family of Marines, both parents, grandfather, 3 uncles, and several cousins. To say she has love & pride for the military and veterans is an understatement! Tiffany Driver, another one of our team members, was a Marine wife for 8 years and supported her husband through several deployments. She also has several family members that have served; her father served in the Navy, a cousin that served in the Air Force, and another cousin is a Lt. Col in the Air Force currently serving. Amanda Battles, our fearless leader, has plenty of ties as well! Her dad served in the Marines and she was born in Charleston SC while he was stationed @ Parris Island....her son is currently serving in the Army @ Fort Bliss as a Cav Scout and will soon be leaving for S Korea. Her brother-in-law retired as a SGT Major in Special Forces out of Fort Collins. We sincerely hope you can swing by so that we may be a small part of a day that celebrates & honors YOU!
