Get Recruited at the 2022 NCVA California Kickoff Recruiting Combine on January 14th!!! The 2022 NCVA California Kickoff Recruiting Combine, in partnership with NCVA and the California Kickoff, will be held on January 14th, from 7:00 p to 8:30 p. at the San Jose Convention Center (Hall 3) and is open to any high school age player (FEMALE ONLY), regardless if they are participating in the NCVA California Kickoff tournament or not.   PLEASE NOTE - January 17th is within the NCAA Divsion I Recruiting Quiet Period, so no DI schools are allowed to attend the Combine in person; we will make the player information packet available to NCAA DI coaches post event.      The NCVA CA Kickoff Recruiting Combine will be will promoted to every NCAA Division II, Division III, NAIA and Junior College Volleyball in the West Coast and Mountain regions.    The Player's name will be on a registered list, and at Combine check in, each player will be given a bib #, so college coaches can easily match player and contact information - Seniors will also be given a colored wristband/bib # for quick identification.  Players should wear normal volleyball practice gear (no need to wear uniforms or shirts with a number on them).   Volleyball players will be divided by position and graduation year to allow attending college coaches to efficiently evaluate them.  5+ courts will be used at the San Jose CC, with each court having a "court coach", to allow players to showcase their skills sets to the college coaches. The court coaches will put the players through volleyball drills within their specific positions, along with combining positions to illustrate group skill sets.  The focus will be on individual and positional group skills, which allows college coaches to quickly and efficiently evaluate players. Parents are not allowed into the Combine, per the request of the college coaches - This allows the players to focus on skills and the college coaches to focus on evaluations.     For the parents, there will be a Recruiting Education session presented by a 15 year NCAA Division I Head Coach while the players in the Combine!
