Description
Ready to get some fresh air and contribute to the health of the watershed?
Volunteers that join the Watershed Litter Cleanup will play a vital role in removing trash from high-use areas, along waterways, and trails. This work protects critical habitats and waterways, while helping serve the mission of the Marin Water to maintain the scenic beauty and the biological richness of the Mt. Tamalpais Watershed.
This activity is suitable for individuals or small groups. All participants must follow strict safety precautions and social distancing guidelines. This volunteer activity should take approximately three hours once you have attended a short orientation led by Marin Water staff.
We will provide trash bags, disposable gloves, and sanitized trash-grabber tools, as well as a day parking pass and T-shirt- let us know your size!
Please email us at
or call
to sign up. Details, maps and guidelines for this program will be provided during a brief 30- minute orientation. Half-hour time slots for the orientation are available on October 12 and 15 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM and on October 23 from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM. Contact us to schedule your orientation time, and to pick up your sanitized gear. Once you have completed an orientation, you may hunt for litter whenever you are out on the watershed.
We look forward to working with you soon!
