Rescue F dog in need of a good home

Chiquita is a sweet dog who behaves like an adoring puppy with my teen daughter, but barks at and runs away from everyone else, including me. She's come a long way from the 18 lbs of weight and serious anxiety that made her soil herself any time an adult approached. Now, she's 35 lbs., spayed, UTD shots, gets along with our cat, and is very quiet for the most part. Chiquita prefers to be outside in a sunny spot but goes in and out throughout the day, sleeping inside overnight with no accidents. She doesn't seem to know how to play with toys and has hidden away every Kong treat toy we've gotten her. I can only put her on a leash when she is trapped in the corner where her bed is; once leashed, she's gentle and calm. On the street, she is super cautious of other dogs, even if they are a block away. I'd love to keep her but her fear of others makes it impossible for me to make dogsitting arrangements when I travel. The right person can turn Chiquita into a lovebug who jumps for joy upon seeing you. Please help me find this little gal a good home. No rehoming fee for that right person Chiquita is looking for.
