Learn to Paint with Alcohol Ink in this 2 hour workshop with Korinne Carpino Join Korinne Carpino, globally known alcohol ink artist! In this 2 hour introductory workshop, you will learn the basics of painting with alcohol inks. You will learn about the properties of the inks, basic tools used and different papers you can paint on. You will practice basic techniques to move the inks using: gravity; a paintbrush; a toothbrush; a felt ink applicator, a coffee stirrer, a straw,a credit card,and an ink blower. You will create two 5x7" paintings in this class. At the end of class, your favorite painting will be matted in an acid free white mat and placed in a clear acrylic sleeve ready for presentation. Registration Fee: $47.00 Material Fee: $8.00 payable in cash to instrutor at time of class Face Masks are required. Artisans is an artist co-op in downtown Mount Dora, Florida. We specialize in handcrafted artwork of all kinds. Within our gallery there is a small classroom in which we are offering a variety of classes that are fun and addicting. You will always be able to take home something you created in class. The classes are relaxing and intimate. Please arrive 10 minutes before the class starts. Downtown parking lots are within walking distance. Feel free to bring a non-alcoholic beverage.
